Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. Aspen went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she was able to take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the second. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus after both fighters fought hard in a tense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
