Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. She is English, and her father was Nigerian. She went to The Brit School when she was 14 years old. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. She appeared in many performances on stage during her time at school, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. The film's success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. She also had the opportunity to play the role of Bambi on The ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the episodes two and three. Madekwe also starred as the main character on How to lose friends & alienate people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment in the year 2008. She also appeared on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons, it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to leave the show after a guest appearance in the premiere episode of the third season. She played Tituba on the television show Salem between 2014 and. Then, in June of 2012 the actress married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. In addition to Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared together on Salem and he had an appearance with her on the show on TV.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, is a member of a large family in Hamilton, Ontario. Four of her older brothers were also present and included twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball parks because her four athletic brothers all played hockey and baseball and basketball in spring and summer. Ashley was never a walker, she danced, so at age just two years old, she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley discovered a love for dancing shortly after she joined the Baby Ballet. When she was in the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. She was crowned the top soloist awards at all of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
